The Spirit of Canton Award is given to acknowledge and honor the outstanding contributions by the NFL Hall of Fame Volunteers who have made amazing contributions to the sport of professional football and their communities and to educate the public about this important part of American heritage - Professional Football.

The Spirit of Canton Aware is the brainchild of RPA President Carl Eller, NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame, Class of 2004.
